Dhamma Torana Location and Transport
Courses in Ontario are currently held at the Ontario Vipassana Centre (Dhamma Torana). From time to time when there is a demand for them, courses may be held in other locations around Ontario. IMPORTANT NOTE: Simcoe County Road 56 will be closed north of the Centre from May 4 to October 22, 2009. The bridge between the Ontario Vipassana Centre and Simcoe Road 21 will be under repair during that period. All traffic coming from the north, e.g., Barrie, North Bay, Sudbury and points west, will need to detour en route to OVC. All traffic from the south, e.g. Toronto, can come as usual, up Road 56 from Hwy 89. Traffic from the north should take Hwy 400 south, exit at Innisfil Beach Road, go west through Thornton, go south on Simcoe Road 27, go west on Essa 10th Sideroad, go north on Simcoe 56 to centre.
