Bus

If you will be travelling by bus and need a ride from the bus drop-off point, please notify the Centre two days in advance so that arrangements can be made for someone to collect you. Provide the centre with the date of your arrival, as well as the estimated time of required pick-up. We will accommodate your request as closely as possible.

On the day of your journey, on arrival at your destination stop, please call the centre to let them know you have arrived, and also your exact location. A driver will be sent to collect you only on receipt of this call.

The preferable bus option in terms of variety of routes, frequency of service, and location drop-off is:

GO Bus

These buses run several times a day from the GO Bus Station located just east of Union Station (main railway station) in downtown Toronto (Front and Bay Streets), and also from the Finch subway station (the last stop on the Yonge Street subway line) in north Toronto. From Toronto International Airport, you can take a bus from any terminal to Union Station (+/- $16.00).

From Toronto, the service you require is the Barrie - Bradford GO Bus Service which travels between Toronto and Barrie. Simply buy your ticket from the bus driver (+/- $10.00) and ask to be let off at the Esso Gas Station in Fennels Corner (Yonge Street and Hwy 89). Alternatively you can buy your bus ticket at the ticket booth at the station (purchase a ticket for Churchill) and once on the bus, ask the driver to let you off at the Esso Gas Station in Fennels Corner.

At the drop-off point - Esso Station - there is an outside phone booth which can be used to call the centre long distance: +1 705-434-9850. If you do not have the funds, make a collect call through the phone operator. There is an Esso store where you can wait inside for the pickup, which will take approximately 30 minutes.

There is also a GO service that runs between Newmarket and Bradford which may be suitable for people travelling from the Thornhill, Markham, Aurora and Newmarket areas.
